The Veterinary Medical Education Division is a leader in educational research and development. Our work aims to enhance the practice, and understanding, of veterinary education for the benefit of our students, our faculty and the profession.

The Division of Conservation Science is an inter-disciplinary group of wildlife health professionals, conservation geneticists and environmental researchers based at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies and the Roslin Institute, University of Edinburgh. Our focus is on the application of scientific research and practice to promote biodiversity conservation and animal, human and ecosystem health, here in Scotland and internationally. We provide world-class research and training. Amongst our activities, the Division is a founding member of Edinburgh Conservation Science.
