Department of Veterinary Pathobiology Strategic Plan 2026-2031. Our strategic plan for the next five years was developed over a period of many months, beginning in academic year 2024-2025, and included both one-on-one meetings with our academic staff and large interactive meetings with members of our department and key partners.Through these meetings, following priorities were identified which shaped the following four initiative pillars that will guide us towards our goal:* Service excellence* Teaching delivery and residency training programs* Building strong research partnerships* Workplace culture and School stewardshipThe Department of Veterinary Pathobiology's strategic plan reflects our ambition to improve and evolve our laboratory diagnostic and research services in pathology and microbiology to meet the unique needs of our diverse client pool. It also reflects our commitment to advance the scholarship of future veterinarians and provide pathology residency training. Our strategic plan sets out an aspiring vision for our future, and a roadmap to its achievement. We see the next 5 years as a period of considerable opportunity by creating an inclusive workplace culture that is unified by the goal of serving the health of animals and focussed on supporting employee/trainee well-being and growth.
