Admissions

At the R(D)SVS we are committed to admitting the best students who demonstrate the potential to benefit from, and contribute to, the world class veterinary training programme we offer and to flourish and thrive within the veterinary profession.

Academic entry requirements and face to face interviews leading to selection decisions are key elements of admissions processes both at the R(D)SVS and other vet schools around the world. We have explored the role and value of interviews as part of the admissions process. Team members are involved currently in long term work looking at predictors of success on the veterinary programme in relation to both pre-entry academic achievements and interview performance.
