Neurodiversity

Many of our staff and students identify themselves as neurodiverse, and the University is committed to providing awareness and support where requested, to ensure everyone has the opportunity to shine at Edinburgh.

The term ‘neurodiverse’ captures a wide range of differences in brain function and behaviour, included (but not limited to) autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, bipolar and schizophrenia. By embracing our neurodiversity, we are able to see the world in many new and interesting ways that provide a real benefit to our community and our work.
