The Dick Vet Rabbit and Exotics Practice have been received a gold award for Rabbit Veterinary Care. Image The Dick Vet Rabbit and Exotics Practice have become one of only four centres in the UK to have received a gold award from the Rabbit Welfare Association and Fund for the high standard of their rabbit veterinary care. The team, which includes specialists in several areas, provides first opion and referral treatment for exotic animals, as well as training the School's students. The gold standard of the RWF is the highest award they can give. I am so impressed with the hard work, dedication and commitment to patient care of all members of our exotics team at the (Dick Vet). This combined with the commitment of the University in providing us with the facilities, allows us to be one of the outstanding centres of excellence in the world . The passion of our owners for their pets and their continued support in enabling the students to learn about these amazing creatures, allows us to pass knowledge and skills on to the next generation of veterinarians, which has a huge benefit in advancing the veterinary care of rabbits worldwide.
