A range of sessions

A number of sessions will focus on specific subjects from across the University’s three Colleges, including Education, History, Biology, Clinical Sciences, Medicine and Law among others.

Throughout the day there will also be complementary sessions covering the applications and admissions processes, where students can ask questions about applying, funding and tuition fees.

Separate sessions will provide information about Edinburgh's range of online student services, including guidance and support from the Careers Service.

There will also be a panel discussion with current online distance learning students.

Studying online

Online learning is a way of studying for an internationally recognised qualification from the University of Edinburgh without needing to visit the campus.

The University offers more than 60 programmes, including Postgraduate Certificates, Diplomas and Masters degrees. All awards are identical to our on-campus qualifications, but delivered flexibly and fully online.

This means wherever you are in the world, you can achieve a University of Edinburgh degree without ever needing to come to campus.

Online programmes are increasingly popular among those who wish to study for a postgraduate qualification alongside on-going work or other commitments.
