Isabela is a visiting PhD student who is based at the Universidade Federal de Viçosa, Brazil. Isabela is a wildlife veterinarian from the Universidade Federal de Viçosa and Mountain Marmoset Conservation Centre, Brazil. Alongside her clinical wildlife veterinary work, Isabela is studying for a PhD focused on the health of buffy-tufted-ear marmosets (Callithrix aurita), which are an endangered species and the focus of a planned reintroduction project in the Atlantic forest of south-east Brazil.
