Staff Elected Fellows of The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons

The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies has five members of staff among the forty-four veterinarians who have been elected as Fellows of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS). The Fellowship initiative was relaunched in April by the RCVS with new routes of entry, to enable a greater proportion of the profession to join its ranks.

There were five successful candidates from across the School, with four elected for ‘Meritorious Contributions to Knowledge’ and one for ‘Meritorious Contributions to Clinical Practice’ category.

For Meritorious Contributions to Clinical Practice:

Professor Anna Meredith

The aim of the new Fellowship initiative is to advance and develop clinical and professional standards by providing a resource of independent knowledge for the benefit of the veterinary profession, the scientific community, and the general public as a whole.
