The aim of the clinical skills department is to deliver excellence in clinical training and education - using a mixture of mannequins, models, simulators and live animals and a team that has a wealth of knowledge and experience including vets, vet nurses and technicians. The department consists of a Small Animal and General Clinical Skills lab, a Large Animal Clinical Skills lab and the Jill Bradley Self Directed Learning Lab. These areas provide a safe learning environment where students can develop their confidence and proficiency before they go on placement where they will be working with real patients.
