Lecturer in Wildlife Health and Conservation Medicine Gidona Goodman joined the Conservation Science group in July 2018 as a Lecturer in Wildlife Health and Conservation Medicine. She has been with the University of Edinburgh in a variety of roles since 1999. These have included teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, clinical duties at the Hospital for Small Animals Exotic Animal and Wildlife Unit, clinical duties at Edinburgh Zoo and veterinary support for a number of conservation projects. The most notable of these has been the reintroduction of beavers to Scotland and the translocation of golden eagles.For more information, see Gidona's staff profile.
