We strive to deliver the very best in equine veterinary care.

To do this, we:

• Use the latest modalities for diagnosis and treatment of equine disease.
• Educate clients so that they can maximise their enjoyment and welfare of horses.
• Aim to benefit society and the environment by educating veterinary surgeons to become members of the world-wide public and professional health care teams.
• Work to advance veterinary medicine through research into disease and disease processes with the goal of improving the health and welfare of equines and human beings.
• Work closely with our Equine Hospital, where a full referral service is available for horses.

Please note: We are a teaching practice, charged with training the next generation of practicing veterinary surgeons. Therefore, students will often accompany the vets on calls.

Our fully portable equipment allows us to use a range of diagnostic tools at your premises, including:

• X-ray
• Ultrasound
• Endsocope
• Motorised dental tools

For those cases that require specialist attention, we can quickly arrange an appointment at the Dick Vet Equine Hospital. For our registered clients this is associated with a reduced referral fee, whether as a pre-arranged appointment or as an emergency out of hours.
