The shortlist for the 2013 Edinburgh University Students Association Teaching Awards has been announced and the Dick Vet is delighted to have been shortlisted in the Best School category. Image Run by EUSA and voted for by students, these annual awards celebrate teaching excellence at the University. This year there are 14 awards categories, rewarding teaching and teaching support staff, postgraduate tutors and students who support their peers through recognised schemes. This year the panel were hugely impressed by the quality of the nominations from across the Unviersity. As a part of the panel for the last 4 years I have always been pleasantly surprised at the lengths members of the University community will go to, to ensure that their teaching is world leading. The shortlisting process was very difficult with so many great nominees but I believe we have managed to find and shortlist the best of the best for 2012/13, as chosen by our students. Andrew BurnieEUSA Vice-President Academic Affairs As well as being shortlisted for Best School, congratulations are due to staff member Fritha Langford was shortlisted in the Teaching with Technology category.
