Image The National Student SurveyThe Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies has scored 90 per cent overall satisfaction in the 2022 National Student Survey (NSS) results, with 94 per cent overall teaching satisfaction.The NSS is an annual survey of around 500,000 students across the UK. It gives a voice to students to help shape the future of their course and is also regarded as an important tool for students deciding where to study.Consistent excellenceThe School has a track record of excellence, ranking first in the UK for veterinary science in the Guardian League Tables for six years running, and in The Times and The Sunday Times' Good University Guide for seven years running.Our world-class research is based in the Roslin Institute and in the most recent Research Excellence Framework (REF), veterinary and agricultural research at the University of Edinburgh and Scotland’s Rural College (SRUC) was ranked as the most powerful in the UK.The School is home to three clinical practices with hospitals attached, each distinguished in its excellence and committed to providing the very best clinical care to patients.
