What is empathy in organisational culture and leadership? The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies foregrounds the importance of collaboration, culture and community health. Our approach to One Health is reflected in how we work, as well as what we do. This demands an approach to leadership and organisational culture, which promotes empathetic practice through:Our intent: Leading and driving sustainable change. Our capability: Sustainable production of knowledge, skills, tools and promotion of behaviours and understandings that support student and staff well-being (voice of capability). Our design: Shaping the knowledge and reflecting on how it is perceived and used by others. Our experiences: Understanding the experiences of those who collaborate and partner with us, as well as those who are affected by our collaborations.
