DVM DipECBHM MRCVS Image Lecturer in Farm Animal Practice Isabelle Truyers graduated from the University of Ghent, Belgium in 2004 and has worked in farm animal practice in the UK ever since. She started off in rural Northern-Ireland and moved to Scotland in 2008 where her previous jobs have taken her as far north as the Orkney Isles. Isabelle is currently working as a lecturer in Farm Animal Practice where she is involved with clinical work, both first and second opinion, clinical research and teaching of undergraduate students on farm, during practical sessions and lectures. Her professional interests are predominantly beef cattle production, reproductive management and infectious disease control. Teaching Isabelle is involved in lecturing in the Farm Animal Clinical Course in 4th year, and also teaches hands-on practical farm animal medicine and surgery as part of the Farm Animal Practice and Herd/Flock Health rotations in final year.
