We are your first point of contact throughout your time at university. Your Student Adviser will be assigned by programme. You can find out who the Student Adviser for your programme is and how to contact us below. There is also information on where to seek support for the programmes that do not yet have a Student Adviser assigned to them.

We will also contact you via email regularly throughout the academic year. Please make sure you check your emails regularly and reply to anything that requires a response in a timely manner.

Our office is the Vet School's Student Support Hub, (room G.04 in Vet School Building - on the ground floor on the left as you enter the building from the car park) and is open for you to drop by at any time between 9 am and 5 pm, you can also email us to arrange a meeting in-person or online.

Hello! I’m Mandy, I’m the dedicated Student Adviser for the Global Food Security and Nutrition students. I’m here to support you as a first point of contact, during your time at R(D)SVS.

You are very welcome to reach out for a chat should you be experiencing a difficult time, or if you have any questions I can help you with academic, wellbeing and/or practical advice too.

My hope is to help ensure your time at university is as smooth and enjoyable as possible. I’m always happy to be a listening ear or if you need specific support I can help guide you on to the relevant services. So please do reach out should you have any problems at all.

During my own time, I love the beach in all weather, and enjoy year-round sea swimming. I like to get lost in a good TV series, and spending time exploring the woods or crafts box with my 2 little boys!

You are welcome to get in touch with me by email, or if you’re around campus you can also drop into the Student Hub for a chat.
