Dick Vet Equine CPD Sessions

The first in the 2024 series of complimentary CPD evenings, this session focuses on the veterinary care of the mare and neonatal foal.

This session is aimed at vets who are involved in reproduction work or first opinion vets treating young foals in general practice.

World-renowned reproduction specialist Dr Niamh Lewis will be joining us online, and we encourage you to bring along cases to discuss, particularly relating to mares that struggle to get into foal or the management of the neonatal foal.

This session is free of charge for referring practices and veterinarians.

The second complimentary CPD event of the 2024 series takes a look at common emergencies, and how to deal with them.

This session is aimed at vets of all experience levels and the topics will offer participants up to date thinking on how to identify the most appropriate management for common emergency cases found in equine practice.

Care and considerations in the management of the young patient.

A session focussed on the veterinary care of the young horse.  Clinical experts will discuss the up-to-date research which informs the most appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to dentistry, orthopaedics and infectious diseases.
