School and campus websites:
A variety of Easter Bush staff support resources updated on the R(D)SVS intranet pages and campus services website. These pages include information on HR, health and safety, mental health resources, childcare, disability, support, LGBTQI+ support, caring support and other support services (e.g. gym and cycle schemes) offered at Easter Bush. There is also a wealth of other information ranging from maps of where to find individual staff, estates and buildings, marketing and IT support.:

R(D)SVS Mental Health Portal:
The R(D)SVS Mental Health Portal provides advice and access to services focused on mental health, for both staff and students. The portal porvides links to online resources, face to face services within the university and in the local community. The website also provides a list of mental first aiders on campus and how to train as one:
Easter Bush Staff Peer Support Group:
This scheme provides an opportunity for staff to discuss with a volunteer any personal issues they may be facing within an equal, supportive and confidential environment. Volunteers will be listed online alongside a short biography. Anyone seeking support would be able to contact volunteers via their supplied contact info. We will also be holding regular coffee mornings where staff can come together to chat over a cup of tea about welfare/campus issues. Volunteers are currently being recruited from all staff levels, and will receive training in confidentiality, active listening, empathy and sensitivity.

Co-hosted between RDSVS and the Roslin Institute, career-coaching sessions are made available to staff as a form of individual pastoral support. Opportunities to attend career-coaching sessions are made available annually by campus wide email.
This university wide website is continually developing you will be able to find out information on childcare, caring support and support groups (internal and external organisations). Above all the website should be a practical support. We would welcome your views and suggestions for its continuing development. By doing this you will help to ensure that the University has one of the best environments within which to study and work.
