Clinical and Education Career Development Committee funding

RDSVS Career development event fund (for group or campus-wide events, up to £500)

The aim of this award is to fund individuals or groups to host training events that will benefit staff career development or support. Specifically, we are interested in funding clinical or educational events on campus that will benefit departments, groups or the wider campus. This includes all staff, postgraduate students or clinical residents and can be open to undergraduates. The application requires a description of how the training will support campus career development and how the event will benefit target groups. Recipients once awarded are requested for all invoices and payments will be made by the school directly. On receipt of the award, you will be required to produce a short blog about the impact of your event +/- a photo from the event (within 6 months of receiving the award). This will be published on the school's website.

Although there is a limited number of events we can fund, we accept applications throughout the academic year. Please submit applications to these funds to kelly.blacklock@ed.ac.uk. The committee will review and award funds at the next possible committee meeting (the committee meets 4x per year).
