The Animal Welfare Centre is engaged in a variety of activities and projects, both within the University and externally with academic institutions, NGOs and governments, to ensure it continues to meet its objectives.

The Animal Welfare Centre is actively engaged with vet nurses, animal care assistants, and animal paraprofessionals. This is via research, teaching, online courses, and continuing professional development.

The Animal Wefare Centre is working closely with colleagues to ensure they are achieving the gold standard of animal welfare and ethics training within the Vet School curriculum.

The Animal Welfare Centre are involved with a range of activities, including developing outreach projects emphasising the importance of developing sustainable animal welfare education.
