The BVM&S programme is fairly unique in its mix of academic, vocational and practical training, and it’s important that the interview panel includes staff who practice veterinary medicine as their day-to-day job! She will be a familiar face to many of you, and the Practice would not be what it is today without her. She now also is the Chair of the 4th Year BVM&S exam board for the equine curriculum, which is keeping her very busy.Dr Louise Cornish also celebrated 10 years at the Dick Vet Equine Practice this year. Louise enjoys all aspects of her job, but is particularly interested in both ends of the life spectrum, teaching equine reproduction to veterinary undergraduates and taking great pride in helping to ensure that our elderly equine friends receive good holistic veterinary care in the latter part of their lives.
