An online course designed for conservation practitioners seeking an introduction to management and leadership training within the context of wildlife conservation. This online course runs over a period of five weeks and is delivered part-time through a series of online recorded presentations, background reading materials, individual assignments and online discussion forums. It is structured to encourage you to apply the learning to your work. Critically review, consolidate and extend knowledge, skills, practices and thinking within the discipline of leadership and apply it to the field of wildlife conservation. 2. Apply knowledge, skills and understanding using a significant range of principal professional skills, techniques, practices and/or materials associated with the management of teams and how to facilitate their improved performance. 3. Exercise substantial autonomy and initiative in reflecting on personal values, competencies and performance within teams and orgnisations, and apply an understanding of how to promote effective interpersonal interactions.
