Offer conditions

We have made you a conditional offer because we require you to meet certain conditions, usually specific grades in your exams and/or the payment of a deposit. Once you have met these conditions your offer will become unconditional.

If you firmly accept our offer of a place, please note that the deadline for the payment of a deposit to secure your place is 10 May.

Please note that if your offer includes a recommendation to gain additional work experience this is not a condition of your offer but simply advice to prepare you fully for starting the BVM&S programme. For candidates offered a place on the 4-year Graduate Entry programme commencing August, please aim to complete this by 15 June. For candidates holding a place on the 5-year programme commencing September, please aim to complete this by 1 August.

Send official transcripts to the Admissions Team as soon as available

You must provide authorised translations of all certificates that are written in languages other than English.

Make sure we are notified of your exam results

If you hold a conditional offer based on results in other examinations you must send official transcripts or certified copies by email as soon as the results become available.

If you do not meet the terms of your conditional offer, your application will still receive careful consideration.

If you feel that any special circumstances, such as illness, have affected your exam performance, we encourage you to follow the special circumstances procedures of the relevant exam board. Your school or college will be able to advise you about this and please also notify the Admissions Team.

Animals and Tissues

Together with your official offer letter, you will receive a teaching note on Animals and Animal Tissues. Please read this carefully before making your final decision on whether to accept your Veterinary Medicine offer or not.
