Action Needed: Complete Your Health Questionaire Your questionnaire is emailed out to you when you have met all of your offer conditions.It is critical that you complete and return this by the deadline stated in the email that accompanies your questionnaire. Thank you!Students who have not completed & submitted a health questionnaire will not receive clearance to study on the BVM&S programme, and may be asked to suspend or withdraw from their studies until such times as clearance is obtained. Information about Health Questionaire Action Needed for Graduate Entry Students - Apply for your Student Card Please ensure that you have followed the instructions to upload a photograph to your student record so the University can prepare your student card. You can do this once your unconditional offer is confirmed. Please ensure this is completed by 17th July. Your student card will be available to collect from the School during registration onto the BVM&S degree course on Tuesday 11th August. Student Support Information Extra Mural Studies for Graduate Entry Students Extra Mural Studies (EMS) allows students to gain practical experience in as many aspects of veterinary work as possible. You will receive full details of your requirements and advice on arranging your placements once you begin the programme. For now please make sure that you are familiar with the information on the page below, and note that you will need to complete 10 weeks of Animal Husbandry EMS outside of term time in year one of the GEP Programme. To meet this requirement, you may choose to complete a placement during your first Winter Vacation Period. EMS Information for 5 year programme students Register with the Disability and Learning Support Service If you have a disability, neurodiverse, mental or long-term health condition, or a specific learning difference that may impact your studies, the Disability & Learning Support Service (DLSS) can support you. If you have a condition you think might require further support please register with the DLSS to arrange an appointment to discuss with a Disability Adviser.If you aren't sure, please get in touch with your Student Adviser to discuss with them in the first instance. Setting up DLSS Support Library and Learning Technology The main library is in George Square, which is in the city centre. However, the R(D)SVS has its own Veterinary Library, with study spaces and rooms for group study. Many resources are also available online.
