Information for pet owners about ordering prescribed medicines, supplements and foods The Hospital for Small Animals has its own dispensing pharmacy that is able to supply the medicines prescribed for your pet. Alternatively, we can provide a written prescription for you at a small charge, and you can buy your pet's medication elsewhere. If you have any questions about requesting repeat medications, returning unused medications or obtaining a written prescription, please visit our Frequently asked questions page Medicine, supplement and food requests are usually available for collection within 72 hours provided we have seen your animal recently, although some requests may take longer if the medicine needs to be imported or specially manufactured.The interval between examinations is determined by the pet's health and vet's advice.
