Congratulations Dr. Manu Kumar Gundappa

This month, Dr. Manu Kumar Gundappa passed his PhD viva.

Huge congratulations to Manu (centre) for passing his viva with minor corrections. Having worked hard and collaboratively on numerous projects over the past several years, Manu is a committed team member and everyone's favourite guy, so his excellent performance was well received.

Many thanks to Manu's external examiner Dr Michaël Bekaert (left) from the University of Stirling, in addition to the internal at Aberdeen (Professor Adam Price). Both did an excellent job and their work is much appreciated.

Manu has now started a post-doctoral position in the Macqueen lab on the BBSRC funded project 'AquaLeap'. Papers from Manu's thesis are to be submitted very soon.
