Goals:

  • Analyse genetic trend
  • Expand AlphaPart to estimate the factors influencing genetic gain (intensity of selection, accuracy of selection, genetic variation, and generation interval)

  • Improve programming skills

Background

I discovered my passion for genetics and research early. I spent my first years improving my programming skills and consolidating my knowledge of genetics. Recently, I started my research on genetic trends.

I am specifically interested in:

  • Genetics, genomics, and multi-omics
  • Biostatistics
  • Bioinformatics

Programming language and software:

  • R
  • Linux and Bash
  • Fortran

Hobbies and personal interests

I am a musician and love music - I spend hours and hours listening to (or playing) jazz, rock, blues, classical music or other styles of music. Climbing mountains and travelling are also in my plans.
