The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies is a world leader in veterinary education, research, and clinical practice. Everything on the Easter Bush Campus is part of the School. 

The Roslin Institute aims to achieve sustainable agriculture, control diseases and enhance health through pioneering animal bioscience. 

The Global Academy is an interdisciplinary hub of researchers, teachers and students; developing new science, curating evidence and learning on the intersection and interdependence of the systems that underpin the health and wellbeing of people and our planet.

A key part of the Easter Bush campus is the Roslin Innovation Centre, which offers physical (and virtual) co-location space for entities active in the 3As to:

• Office and laboratory space to enable tenants of the centre to incorporate and grow.
• Provide a ‘soft’ landing for overseas companies.
• Provide a hot-desk environment for commercial collaborators.
• Provide an opportunity for partner organisations to create and grow new enterprises.
• Provide a dedicated Science Outreach Centre to engage schools and the public.

The Easter Bush Agritech Hub seeks to leverage existing world-class research institutes and commercialisation facilities to help the City Region become a global location of Agritech and veterinary excellence. It does this through a campus-wide network that generates and collates, in real time, a multitude of local and global data, (e.g. veterinary activities, animal genetics, food species genetics, soil condition, weather and market drivers). It also collaborates with partners to use this information to realise the potential of having the right food species, and the right products, in the right field at the right time, to maximise agricultural productivity.

The Easter Bush Campus is home to major research and innovation centres, including:

• The Centre of Expertise on Animal Disease Outbreaks (EPIC)

• The Jeanne Marchig International Centre for Animal Welfare Education

The campus is home to clinical services including three clinical hospitals and a pathology unit, all of which undertake research and innovation activity alongside their service offering, often taking advantage of or cross-linked with other parts of the campus.
