Information about what the Toolbox can offer. Assay development These projects can be tailored for specific purposes from newly generated and existing reagents and include optimising reagents and protocols for immunological and biochemical assays such as: Flow cytometry and histology Western blotting Development of ELISA Conjugation services Labelling of antibodies, recombinant proteins and growth factors can be done using either newly constructed reagents generated by the Toolbox, or existing reagents. Labelled proteins or growth factors may provide an alternative to producing an antibody where they can be used as molecular tags. This can be useful for molecules against which it is difficult to raise antibodies. Possible tags include Biotin, HRP, fluorescent labels including FITC, R-PE and a variety of Alexa Fluor conjugates.
