Antigen Presenting Cells (APC) interactions

This encompasses three projects studying the interactions of antigen presenting cells (APC) with vaccines and pathogens.

Developing methods to propagate macrophages from stem cells and using those macrophages to investigate interactions with Mycobacterium bovis - the causative agent of bovine TB.

Defining signature responses at the innate-adaptive interface to inform the design of vaccines inducing cellular immunity.

This project aims to determine which cells are infected by Bluetongue virus and the role of bacterial components in this process.
