The Roslin Institute is saddened to hear of the death of Professor Keith Campbell, who was a key member of the team whose work led to the production of Dolly the Sheep at The Roslin Institute. Professor Campbell, who moved to the University of Nottingham in 1999, was known around the world for his pioneering work and was jointly awarded the Shaw Prize for Life Science and Medicine in 2008. This is very sad news and our thoughts are with Keith's family at this difficult time. Keith's work was the primer to much of what has followed here at The Roslin Institute and we are grateful to have had continued professional and personal friendships with Keith since his move to Nottingham.
