Schools Engagement

We offer research and curriculum-linked workshops and educational resources for primary and high school pupils.

Bring your group to the Easter Bush Science Outreach Centre, our purpose-built research engagement lab, to take part in one of our interactive, hands-on workshops.

The Roslin Public Engagement team also deliver outreach activities to schools in rural areas, teacher CLPL and provide downloadable educational resources.

Our P6 & P7 primary workshops are fun, hands-on, curriculum-linked learning experiences that reveal the world of science. All of our workshops are led by the Roslin Institute Public Engagement team and supported by our researchers, postgraduate students and scientific staff, giving your pupils the opportunity to meet and work with real scientists.

We also have a selection of free downloadable classroom resources here
