I have a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Warwick in 2007 and an MSc in Climatology from the University of Birmingham in 2010. Before moving to Edinburgh for my PhD I spent several years in the Netherlands where I worked as a consultant with NGOs looking at how to make food supply chains more sustainable.

As a PhD student in SRUC and the University of Edinburgh, I conduct research on the effects of climate change on pastures, with a particular focus on sheep and goat systems. This research project is part of the European Commision Horizon 2020 initiative "Innovation for Sustainable Sheep and Goat Production in Europe (iSAGE)".
