Seminar: "Food Systems for Nutrition: Progress in the Last Decade and Future Directions"

Professor Suneetha Kadiyala (Professor of Global Nutrition at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine) will give a talk titled “Food systems for nutrition: progress in the last decade and future directions” as part of  the Easter Bush Research Seminar Series on Wed 8th December 2021 at 1pm. The seminar will be hosted by Dr Lindsay Jaacks of the Global Academy of Agriculture and Food Security.

 

Prof Kadiyala is a nutritionist working towards addressing structural determinants of food and nutrition security in low and middle-income countries. She has various research interests including the intersection between agriculture/food systems and food security, gender and nutrition, and her current work includes the design and evaluation of complex nutrition-sensitive agriculture programmes and the development of methods and metrics to study multi-sectoral approaches to improve nutrition outcomes.
