The first field trials of a range of legume crops are now well underway in our western implementation site in Ethiopia. The LegumeCHOICE decision support tool was used to facilitate discussions with groups of farmers about which legume crops may best contribute to meeting their needs. Demonstrations of multiple varieties and their best growing practices have been set up with 12 farmers. Implementations of the tool in Kenya and the DRC are now also underway and the establishment of their field trials will follow shortly.
