This includes people:
- In homeless hostels and night shelters
- Sleeping rough
- Living locally in tents, cars or caravans
- Sofa-surfing
- Living in short-term temporary accommodation (vulnerably-housed) and who have a support officer who can provide us with a letter
While we are always happy to give advice, please note we cannot fully register people with a council or housing association permanent tenancy. If you are in a council or housing association tenancy, and need veterinary help for your animal, you may be eligible for free or reduced-cost PDSA treatment in Edinburgh. It is strongly advisable to register your animal before any treatment is needed as demand is high.
