Emergencies

Please note we are not a full-service veterinary clinic and we do not see seriously sick animals and emergencies.

If you have an emergency with an animal you should contact a veterinary practice. In an emergency, any veterinary practice should provide you with appropriate telephone advice or first-aid treatment.

If you are on certain benefits, you may be entitled to free or low cost treatment, including emergency treatment, at Edinburgh PDSA Tel: 0131 443 6178.

If your animal has recently been treated at All4Paws and has become unwell, please contact Dick Vet General Practice, Easter Bush Veterinary Centre, Roslin, Midlothian EH25 9RG, Tel: 0131 650 7650. Our out-of-hours number will be provided in a recorded message. Explain you are already registered at All4Paws.

Other sources of help

For dog owners experiencing homelessness, Dogs Trust offers a veterinary treatment card scheme which entitles registered owners to free veterinary treatment and free neutering at appointed veterinary practices. Owners should register before any treatment is needed to avoid delays.

Depending on our current funds, we can occasionally help with neutering at All4Paws (both cats and dogs) – please enquire.
