Visiting Researcher Programme

The Engineering Biology Hub will host a Visiting Researcher Programme from 2026 to 2028, welcoming up to three visiting scientists or PhD students each year. Designed to support and train the next generation of researchers, the programme provides access to core facilities, office and laboratory space, bioresources, and active mentoring.

National and international visitors will have the opportunity to conduct Engineering Biology projects under the guidance of the Hub’s expert scientists.

Please note that visitors are expected to arrange for their own accommodation and cover the costs of their living/travel expenses while visiting.

Who can apply?

Early career scientists, including graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.

PhD Opportunities

The Engineering Biology Hub does not provide dedicated funding for PhD students. Typically, PhD positions are advertised in November or December of the year before the start date.
